GARDEN JOURNAL

Damn Fine

The great white north is looking pretty amazing right now. The snow cover has been grand and winds have been low – the perfect combo for spectacular vistas when travelling through a mountain pass.

Icy. Peaceful. Gorgeous.

Those are spectacular views of the mountains. You are lucky that the pass is open, and the road doesn’t look too bad. A thick layer of snow on their boughs makes the conifers look extra special, and the mountain peaks even more imposing. When the sun shines and makes the snow sparkle, you can really appreciate winter. The hot springs at the end of the day would provide a nice ending.

Happy new year to you! and thanks for the visit. And yes the hot springs pics are coming up…
